My Students

I am a teacher in a Title I school. My classroom is made up of EC children and typically developing students. I have students who have special needs and behavior challenges. My classroom also has students who are learning English as a second language.

My students try so hard to learn new things!

They work hard every day to learn the new things that are needed for school. They love taking books home to read to their parents by doing a picture walk. They love showing their families what they can do even before they learn to read words in a book.

My Project

The materials that I have asked for will make learning fun for my students. They will have hands-on experiences with books by using the puppets on the flannel board. The books will come to life for my students with the help from all of my donations.

Let's bring the books to life for my students and make them excited about learning.

Let's show students how learning can be fun and not something that they have to do but something they want to do. The storytelling kit will allow my students to have some new books to use and to explore with. These materials will encourage my students to read with the CD's that come with the books for the students to listen to as they follow along in the books.
