This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a low income school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I want them to know that this classroom is a safe place for them. I want the students to know that they have a place to go and feel safe when they are missing their families and also to make that place comfortable enough for them to breath, relax and learn.

My Project

Every student, specially little ones, will be missing their family and home, that's why these soft chairs will help them feel comfortable and safe at school.

By donating to our project, you are not only helping our classroom be more comfortable and cozy for them, but you will be also helping the students to build their confidence and independence while not being with their family.

The first and foremost is to help the students building their confidence outside their home, to give them the opportunity to build on character and engage them in early character development and curious about all the wonderful things they can learn in school.
