My Students

We are a culturally diverse, rural high school. Our students are the pride of our school system. Students compete on all levels from local to national through athletics, FFA, FBLA and BETA club activities.

We have high expectations for our students; meaning we want them to leave high school fully prepared for whatever they have chosen, whether it be college, vocational or straight into a career field.

Our Core Beliefs and Mission statement for our school are​ “My Education My Future”.

My Project

Last year we made the decision to bring the Prom back to our school cafeteria after years of alternate venues. The hope is to be able to bring down the cost so tickets can be more affordable to our students. My students have planned a glamorous Hollywood night which will totally transform the room into a red carpet, black tie event they will remember in a setting which in no way resembles their school cafeteria. The addition of these wireless battery operated Par Lights will bring our event from ordinary to extraordinary with lighting and special effects.

We actually are creating an investment in our school because all these materials will be stored and reused for future events including proms and banquets.

They also can be used by our fine arts department for musical and theater performances as well as highlighting special art works. My students have worked very hard this year to raise the money necessary for all the decor. Please help us to bring event lighting to this special event (and future events)!
