Help me give my students the tools they need to cope with sounds that get in the way of their learning with hearing protectors and slant boards to encourage better posture throughout the day.

My Students

The thing I love about my students is when I interact with them. I love learning from them and I love when I see them make connections between what they are learning and their lives! I teach first graders who are very interested in learning and jump into projects with both feet.

All of my students come to school with enthusiasm and excitement for learning, life and friends.They enjoy explaining their thoughts, talk about how something happened, and how things work.

My Project

My students are in need of improving their behavior, participation, attention, focus and improve sore, strength and posture. If my students have the opportunity of slant boards in the classroom throughout their school day, their bodies will be awake and ready to work! Offering changes in positions and movement in the classroom will provide short bursts of activity.

It is important that students have certain tools that are going to help their learning.

Other students in my classroom find noises very distracting. Using noise canceling headphones will help my students effectively stay academically engaged! Let's do everything possible to support their learning.
