My Students

I teach at a Title 1 school in Bronx ,NY. The students in my classroom are students with learning and emotional disabilities. Our classes serve students with a wide range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disabilities.

They have big dream , they dream of learning ,and getting a job to help them-self and their families ,and reaching their full potential ,with your help we can acquire the tools and the skills to reach those goals .

Many of the most in demand jobs required computer and technology skills .

My Project

Having I pad will help my students to engage in online activities for example ( Ed Puzzle ,class dojo ,epic, flipgrid ,and Kahoot ) and provide the students the visual support they need . The product I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices that work best for them .I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given choices using their devices like I pad or computers. They almost always make good choices ,and more engaged ,and get more work completed then when they are just answer worksheets.
