My Students
I teach in a low socioeconomic school in Southern California where all students receive free lunch. My students are special because they are in a bilingual kindergarten class. Seventy percent of our day is in Spanish and 30% of our day is in English. I have 20 students with different needs, personalities, and learning modalities. Most of my students are English language learners, but I do have English speakers who want to learn how to read and write in two languages. How awesome is that?
My Project
During these difficult times full of hardship and confusion our students need stability. An updated laptop would help me provide my students with high-quality lessons, routines, procedures, and the stability they need to be successful during remote learning.
With your generosity and support my students will received the learning opportunities that will help them be successful learners through virtual and/or in person learning.
