Help me give my students the most effective reading instruction by providing me with the resources that have been well reviewed and proven effective in classrooms across the US.
My students are so unique! They have huge personalities for 6-7 year old kiddos and they are very motivated to learn. They are very curious and inquisitive. I have also learned this year that they learn so much more from visual and hands-on learning.
As smart as each of them are, I still have some struggling readers who get more frustrated as we go and I am searching for any and everything I can to support them in this journey of learning how to read.
They such hard workers, and some of them don't have the most supportive home life that can support them as they learn.
They all have such big hearts and they work so hard. They have grown so much since the beginning of the school year and they deserve anything they can get to support them and their learning.
My Project
These resources I have requested are highly recommended by many and have been proven to be effective in a variety of classrooms. The lessons are engaging and a lot of it is laid out to be quick and easy for the children and the teacher. Reading is HARD to learn and these materials make the process a little less painful for everyone involved, particularly the students who are currently frustrated and struggling with reading.
My goal is for every child to become more confident in their reading so that they can become more successful across the board.
Right now they are discouraged and disliking reading, but I believe wholeheartedly that they can become more confident and stronger readers with more resources in our classroom.
