My Students

What makes my students special? My class has 17 individuals that surprise me every day on what they know, how fast they learn, and how much fun they can be. Just when you think it's going to be one of those days, you see that spark in one of them, the light bulb goes on and it turns your whole day around.

Having a class of 3-5 year-olds can be a challenge when preparing a lesson plan that is suitable for the new 3 year-olds yet challenging for the older 4 and 5 year-olds.

We know that children learn through play, so during free choice giving them new and exciting items to play with with help promote the learning.

My Project

My children need new and exciting items in the classroom that grabs their interest and promotes their learning. By observing the children we were able to choose items that will help promote these goals. After being away from the classroom for so long, I want them to be excited be back and see the new items we were able to get them. I feel that if I supply the items, the children will show me what they learn from it. I hope to keep them engaged through play. Thank you.
