My Students

The students in my Special Day Classroom are a very diverse group of excited learners. They are hungry for knowledge and love to learn new things. I love teaching my students using hands on materials. It is truly amazing to watch them grow day after day with great big smiles on their faces.

They are the future!

I can't wait to see what will become of each and everyone of them and how much they grow and learn during this school year.

My Project

Students today are forced to learn earlier, which may lead to a dislike in school. I love having teaching alternatives besides the old school pencil and paper. Learning to read can be difficult. It may be even harder if they have some sort of learning disability.

Learning through play is the best way to learn!

With more fun and hands on teaching materials, my students will get the pleasure of learning through play. Items that can teach various skills at once are ideal in a multi-skilled and diverse classroom. The best part is, it is more fun and hands on!
