Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning all about letters is the first step to reading on our own! These letter knowledge and reading interactive materials will help my students learn the basics in a fun way. They will gain a better understanding of letters and how they work with these hands on activities. Another major part of learning to read on our own is understanding how a story works and that the words need to go in a certain order and with certain pictures in order for that story to make sense. These materials will help my students put stories together in order and help them learn what to look for when reading on their own. Our students, especially our EL students, learn so much better and we see so much more improvement from them when they get to move and use manipulatives instead of just a bunch of worksheets! Thank you for helping give my students access to what they need to learn the basics of reading and writing!
