My Students

I am a first-year teacher, and I love knowing that I get to come in every day and make an impact on 21 students' lives. Kindergarten is such a special age where they are always excited and eager to learn.

For many, this is one of their first years of school, and I love knowing that I get to be there for this milestone in their lives.

My kindergartners have been making huge amounts of growth throughout this school year and are continuing to grow every day!

My Project

I am a first-year teacher, and this is my first year in kindergarten. Even though I am fresh out of college, I still have a lot of learning to do when it comes to kindergarten. Kindergarten is a special age, and I want to learn more of how I can better teach my students.

I would like the opportunity to spend 5 days fully immersed in learning how to better myself as a kindergarten educator by attending the I Teach K conference this summer.

I will learn more about how to engage my students, classroom management, and other helpful teaching techniques. Education is constantly changing, and I feel like this conference is a great way to stay up to date.

I am asking for help to cover the conference fee, my flight, and parts of my food and lodging. Being a first year teacher, my funds are tight. I am still paying off student loans and trying to continue my own education as a teacher. With your help, you will make it possible for me to grow in my profession.
