My students need enrichment books for Ohio such as Ohio Archaeology an Illustrated Chronicle of Ohio's Ancient American Indian Culture, Wildflowers of Ohio Field Guide, etc..
My students shift between classes all day long. They're so used to transitions between subjects, and they really need a break with some facts about OHIO! My students are in fourth grade; my class is for social studies and science.
They have different academic levels and different perspectives.
I have students with and without disabilities in the classroom. We are a rural school with a lot of fun learning! We love social studies and science! We need a bigger library of Ohio books to enrich our Social Studies class!
My Project
These materials will be used at intervention time as a new resource for books! They will be displayed in the classroom for students to look through and practice reading and enforce their social studies knowledge. We are always looking for ways to reinforce multiple subjects!
This project will help me and my students by providing them with enrichment materials about Ohio.
It will also help my students conquer their assessment about Ohio. This will act as a reinforcement to what they learn in Social Studies! My students deserve these books!
