Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are individuals that come from low income driven families. Although this is such they are motivated to learn and to put forth their best effort to achieve. I love that I am able to capture their heart with a willingness that they know that they are able to trust me as there teacher. Yes, I do wear many hats and I love it. If it is nothing else that they learn from me is despite their circumstances they can still achieve what they want too.

My Project

The materials will help my students have a greater understanding for the importance of reading fluently and with comprehension. Also the students are able to build there stamina and be well prepared for the Georgia Milestone. My students will be able to learn of various genres and how to compare and contrast stories. By having these books in my classroom all students will be able to read and not have to have an excuse or depend on home to get them to where they need to be: successful individuals. This is our future so make a different. Thank you for donating.
