My students need games and activities to boost hand eye coordination and movement during recess as well as good behavior and attendance incentives.

Hello! I am a first grade teacher at an elementary school located in a high poverty area. My school consists of students in grades pre-k through 5.
Children of all ages need time to exercise and have fun throughout the day. Recess is usually the time set aside for students to let out their energy and get that exercise. Unfortunately my school is unable to have recess, we can't even bring the students outside to the playground during the school day because the area around our school has been deemed too dangerous for our children. Instead of playing outside the students have to stay in the cafeteria at their designated lunch table because the safest place for them to be is inside the school. Since we are unable to go outside I would like to provide opportunities for my students, as well as the other students in grades pre-k to 5, with fun activities that will get them moving.
I am requesting bean bag games such as hopscotch and bean bag toss as well as ring toss and roll and score. These games take up very little space and can be used in the cafeteria after lunch. I can't imagine being a 6 year old and having to sit quietly at my table for a 45 minute lunch period. These activities will allow students to get up and move. In addition to being used during lunch periods these games would also provide an added benefit. My school could use these same games for good behavior and attendance incentives. Every couple months the faculty would like to have a school carnival to award students who followed our school behavior policy: being ready, responsible, and respectful. We will reward each grade with one hour on those days to use these materials as well as other games. The excitement of these games can also make students want to come to school every day and keep our attendance up.
Your donation will help not only my class but every student in my school enjoy recess activities as well as motivate them to do their best with behavior and attendance.
