My 4th grade students are absolutely incredible and inspire me on a daily basis.This year has definitely not been the easiest, but my students still find creative ways to bring joy to life and learning. I love how my students have not only adapted to the new way of learning amidst the pandemic, but that they are thriving at it! We are breaking new ground together as a team and are constantly learning from one another. I am looking forward to the growth that we will continue to share throughout the remainder of the school year.
My Project
I am working on making my classroom more engaging when it comes to whole group instruction. A challenge that we are facing this year is that students are having a difficult time wanting to participate and engage in learning. They have a hard time communicating at times with all of the new rules and mandates that must be followed. I want to make whole group instruction fun again!
Students love when they are able to play a game that contributes to their learning.
With a throwable microphone, EVERY lesson can be a game! I want all of my students to get excited to share their thinking. I believe that this product will greatly enhance my students willingness to share their incredible ideas with their peers.
