This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! My name is Becca Birdsall and I am a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher. My students are incredibly gifted and skilled. I would like to provide them with opportunities to engage with our Language Arts curriculum in fun and meaningful ways. In our classroom we use a combination of Benchmark Advance and University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI) for phonics instruction.

I am seeking donations for magnetic letters, crayons, pens, alphabet stamps that would be utilized during our daily centers rotations.

With these resources, my students would be able to do their word work activities and reading with beautiful crayon colors that represent all student backgrounds, stamps, magnetic letters, and cookie sheets.

My students enjoy working collaboratively and challenge themselves to make their brains stronger! We always promote kindness and perseverance in our classroom and I would love to give these students these resources to help extend their learning.
