My Students

My students are studying accounting, entrepreneurship, and finance. I have many upperclassman who have expressed school is no longer a fun environment, now that they are in the latter part of their high school education.

Many of the students I serve struggle to find a worthwhile reason to go to school each day.

Using board games in the classroom both supports community building in the classroom and provides a engaging way to reinforce learning targets. Help me give them a good reason to get to first period accounting class on time!

My Project

The games will be used to reinforce concepts learned in class. Courses include accounting, entrepreneurship, and financial planning. The selected games facilitate engagement in concepts such as supply and demand, scarcity, resource management, probability, managing money, trade, and capital investment.
