Year ONE at an awesome new middle school. It's also my first year teaching and I am over the moon to be here with these great sixth graders.
My advisory class meets daily where our group delves into deep life conversation as well as super fun activities!
We are bonding and getting to know and trust one another. Some weeks we have focused on ways to save the planet and others we had paper airplane-making tutorials. We like to mix it up!
My Project
Advisory classes are all about bonding and social-emotional learning. My students just missed out on an entire year of school bonding skills.
After a year in isolation, my kids need support to get back into the social swing of things!
These puzzles, games, and workbooks will enhance my students' lives giving them the foundation and connection skills to make lifelong friends and well-adjusted individuals.
Donating to my project will help my students have fun, bond, and trust each other- giving them the supports that will help guide them on their school path.
