My Students
My students are 2nd graders complete with a side order of AWESOME! We are a self-contained, special education class in a low-income neighborhood, and each student is on a different learning level so differentiation is a must! They are a hands-on, bright, and lovable group of kids who are incredibly eager to learn. We are looking forward to our journey this school year and hope that it is an amazing experience for every child in our diverse and fabulous class!
My Project
My students are visual learners to the maximum ...if they see it, they can be it! With a Common Core push in graphic organizers, we have the ability, but what we lack is the space! This easel is portable, will make circle time more interactive, and will help my students visualize what we read. Students can benefit from this easel when working in groups and when documenting information from experiments and other scientific projects. This material will receive daily use in class and will be a key component in the teaching and learning process in our classroom. Thank you for your consideration!
