Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students have been labelled, "underrepresented." They are resilient and brilliant. They represent many cultures, languages, abilities, religions, talents, goals, and personalities. Our students belong to a Title I district, with the entire school qualifying to receive free or reduced lunch.
My scholars are eager to learn all aspects of technology.
Students love to dive deep into the world of coding, engineering, chemistry, geography and history. My students are peaceful warriors who defend social justice and promote unity. Poverty is their only obstacle.
My Project
Students will be able create videos for projects with real world applications as they participate in authentic assessments. The GoPro is easy to use and can go anywhere my students go. All of my students are in the STEM pathways at school. They participate in engineering, coding, cyber security and robotics competitions. I know the ease and accessibility of the GoPro will meet the needs of my students. Students love to utilize innovative technologies in the classroom that will prepare them to be successful in both the professional world and post-secondary education. Having the capability of recording relevant authentic learning experiences will be unforgettable.
