My Students

My students attend a Title I school with approximately 55% of my students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. My students love math and want to learn new and exciting ways. Each year approximately 70% of my students pass the end of year exams. Our goal is to increase this number moving forward.

My school is considered a close knit neighborhood school.

All kiddos either walk to school or they are dropped off by a parent. We do not have a bus that services our students.

My Project

Hello! I would like to attend the NCTM (National Council of Teaching Mathematics) regional conference in Seattle Washington to learn new exciting ways to teach Math in my classrooms. Our standards in Oklahoma have changed so much in the last several years and it is time that I step up my game and be the best teacher I can be for my students. I need your help to make this a reality for my students. Unfortunately, my school and school district cannot provide financial support for me to attend this conference and I cannot pay this on my own. Will you help?
