This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello, my classroom is made up of 18 preschoolers. Most of the children come from low-income homes and have other siblings in the home. I want to encourage the children that they can be anything that they want to be if they just apply themselves and never let anyone tell them they can't do something.
The children in the class strive to be the best at everything they do, and with the right materials, we can make this happen for each of the children.
My Project
As educators we want the children to learn how to work as a team. We have started a class team and we compete with other teams and schools. The resistance bands will help the children lead to walk together for the tie your foot together race. The medicine ball will help the children learn to control a ball for the ball race.
Teamwork will help kids communicate with others, increase their social skills and self-confidence, and help them to develop into happier adults.
Teamwork also teaches kids important skills and life lessons.
When we play other teams we want the children to have fun and also learn that winning is not everything. We want the children to have fun and learn about the importance of teamwork.
