My students need to have access to wonderful riding toys. Many of my students do not have opportunities to play outside except for during their school day. I would like help in providing them with equipment to make their time at school as rich as possible. All children deserve wonderful outdoor experiences. Thank You!

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Welcome to Kindergarten! As you walk through the door of my circa 1957 classroom may you be greeted by the smell of glue, paint and the beautiful smiling faces of my 32 students. Our school is located in a low income suburban area. We have many challenges to over come. Our class motto is based on the story of The Little Engine That Could, "I think I can". We hope you will help us to have the best Kindergarten experience we can.

My students have little opportunity for outside play except during the school day. Many live in areas where it is not safe for them to be outside due to crime or gang violence. I would like to provide them with materials that will support healthy physical development and fun!

I have requested a scooter for use on our playground. We have several bikes and 2 scooters but not nearly enough for all the students. I would like all of the students to have a chance to ride daily. I have requested 1 but could use 5! :)

I thank you for taking the time to read this proposal and for your willingness to help my wonderful students thrive at school. When we invest in our children we empower them to create a life in which we can be proud of. Children learn what they live. I would like my students to know there is a world past their neighborhood and that people are ready and willing to help. Thank You!
