I teach 2nd grade to a group of the sweetest, caring, smartest, and loving children. Our elementary school is a public school in Texas. We have a diverse community with a wide range of families. We have students who were born in the neighborhood and many students who have traveled a long way internationally to be here. The students are consistently learning from each other.
I strive to create a structured environment where every student can excel.
When my students walk through the door, each and every one of them is met with love and consistency. Here they believe they can and will succeed.
Let's go on an adventure. Let's take a trip through the animal kingdom, the world of robotics, understanding financial literacy, and discovering how plants help our planet. All of this is possible with National Geographic Kids.
A classroom can never have too many good books!
Our class would love to have even more high-interest reading materials. Students love the detailed photography and engaging graphic design in National Geographic books. It draws kids in and increases the learning in our classroom. The learning spills over to the home to increase parent interactions and parent engagement as students are eager to share their new wealth of information.
Our next reading and writing units focus on non-fiction and text features. Please help our class have even more resources to set the students up for success. Thank you in advance for supporting educations and our students.
