Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my class are from very diverse ethnic, economic and academic backgrounds. All of the students receive free lunch. My students are eager to learn, engage in daily classroom activities and make new friends. They arrive at school with a smile and a willingness to try their very best every day!
Each child has their own unique way of learning.
I try to instill in them a love of learning and a sincere desire to do well and be successful in life. Our school district has been experiencing financial difficulties for many years. One hundred percent of our students qualify for free breakfast and free lunch. That being said, we have a great school with the best students, teachers who love what they do and two administrators who work together to make our school a safe environment for everyone.
My Project
Technology is the way of the future for my kindergarteners! Unfortunately, technology in my school is sorely lacking. I teach in an urban school district and our classroom computers are very old. The Microsoft Surface Go would be a real help for the students.
My students love to use the computers in school.
Most of the student do not have access to computers at home because of financial constraints. We need to provide opportunities for them at school every day.
This computer would be used as an integral part of our learning environment so that the students can have fun and learn!
