Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher of bright-eyed, energetic early learners (preschoolers) who come from homes that are in low income areas. Most of them are being raised by single parents who are struggling to support their children during these uncertain times. Many of these parents need some extra support to provide their children with supplies that will enhance their learning experiences. I want to provide my students with the tools that will help them build the scientific skills that will enrich their learning. Maybe some day one of my students will set the world on fire by discovering the cure for cancer or help solve some of the major problems facing planet Earth. My students encourage me to be the best educator I can be by looking for new and creative ways to engage them as I teach so I humbly ask that you consider funding these supplies!

My Project

Students will be able to learn and explore using these amazing STEAM materials. The youngest students in our school will start their education off on the right foot exploring science, technology, engineering, art and math. Our young learners will begin to think outside the box on their own and be more involved in their own learning as they build, create, measure, observe and make predictions. The materials they use to explore and discover with will carry over into the upper grades. The materials will be placed where students can get to them easily and independently and be able to start exploring immediately!
