My students need opportunities to be creative by doing hands-on activities. There are so many endless possibilities with LEGOS. The Geostix and pattern block cards incorporate geometry.

My Students

My students come from many different backgrounds and socioeconomic status'. We live in a rural small town in NC. My students are 2nd graders and very eager to learn. They love hands-on projects and anything that is interactive.

My students are on many different levels ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade.

It is a challenge every day to meet their needs, but that's what I love about teaching. I desire to meet each of their needs and what's best for them daily.

My Project

Using LEGOS in my classroom will help students get excited about learning. The LEGOS are familiar to children and they love them! I want my students to be eager to learn and create using this tool. I plan to create task cards to guide my students while working with the LEGOS.

Incorporating STEAM centers in my classroom is my desire for the upcoming school year.

The pattern block cards will be a helpful resource to use with the pattern blocks I already have. The Geosticks will be fun and interactive when teaching geometry. Please help my students get excited to learn.
