This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Implementing a coffee cart within our educational environment will significantly benefit our students in the Autism Focus Program by providing a practical and engaging platform to develop essential life skills. The presence of a dedicated cart, stocked with coffee supplies, and equipped with a money box, serves as a hands-on training ground for honing various skills. Through the operation of the cart, students can practice and enhance their organizational abilities, time management, and financial literacy. Additionally, the social aspect of the coffee cart creates valuable opportunities for students to engage in meaningful conversations, fostering social interaction and communication skills.

This initiative not only imparts practical life skills but also promotes a sense of inclusion and empowerment for our students in this program, contributing to their overall personal and social development.

By embracing this inclusive approach, we not only empower students with Autism to navigate real-world scenarios confidently but also cultivate an environment that celebrates diversity and encourages peer support.
