Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are curious and excited about learning. They display enthusiasm when learning new topics. Students work individually, in small groups, and as a whole to solve problems and create projects that show their learning.

My goal is to make learning fun and incorporate real world connections to help the students understand the various skills within the curriculum.

I believe that if students are having fun, then they have a better change of learning.

I teach in a Title I school, so my students don't always have access to various supplies and technology. I would love to be able to provide extra tools to push their learning to higher levels!

My Project

Technology has become such an important part of our daily lives. It is everywhere! Which is why kids need as many opportunities to practice with it!

With these tablets, my students will be able to push their learning not only with content, but also with learning technology skills.

They will be able to interact with each other through websites such as Padlet and our own county-wide site, called eClass.

Students will also be able to read and play educational games that will help them to practice the skills they have just learned in class. These tablets will provide a great learning center in all subjects!
