My Students

I have a classroom of first graders who are eager to learn and do their best.

We are a Title 1 school with 90% of our population living in poverty. They come from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds. We have a high population of English language learners who want to learn. These families may not always have the ability to provide their children with the supplies they need for learning.

My Project

I am requesting pencil boxes and supplies such as glue, pens,and erasers to go in their desks so that my students have what they need to complete their assignments. They will be able to keep these supplies organized in their desks and have them ready when they need them. They will know where everything is so that they can get them out quickly to begin their work.

These tools will help provide my students the supplies they need to do math, reading and writing in class.

They will be able to keep the pencil boxes in their desks so they are ready to learn.
