This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

It is my great honor to teach in the hometown I grew up in at a fine arts magnet school. At our school teachers work diligently to make sure the students have everything they need to grow and learn. This is also my first year of teaching so I am excited to start looking for materials for my students. My 21st-century students are eager to collaborate and learn so that they are ready for 21st-century professions. Here is to a great year!

My Project

My fifth graders are energetic and curious students. When I have them at my back table for math groups I want to keep their interest and connect with them. I believe that these wobble chairs will allow my students to not only get the wiggles out but also fully concentrate on the math skills that we are working on. I need to get them ready for middle school math and we still have much work to do. I know my students would be very excited to have these special wobble chairs in our classroom. We would love your help to make this happen!
