Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students come from all backgrounds, which make them all unique and a pleasure to teach.
They bring excitement to the classroom and are eager to learn about all kinds of subjects that relate to the real world.
It is many of my students' first year in school, so as a teacher, it is important that they have all of the materials they need to succeed and enjoy their first year.
Our school has a large free and reduced lunch population and many of the students face setbacks, but that does not stop them from wanting to participate in virtual learning, succeed, and feel loved everyday!
I am hoping to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
My Project
The Magna-Tiles Sets will benefit the students in several areas, not just STEM. STEM is a researched-based methodology to guide students in highly engaging learning opportunities. They will also help with retelling and story sequencing skills, how to tell time, learn about feelings and emotions, learn animal names and colors, and problem solve.
Science is everywhere in the world around us.
I truly believe that providing students with this wider, more diverse image of the STEM world will engage students more deeply in materials and help their mindset, identity, and agency to believe that they have a place in the world of STEM.
