My Students

My students walk into my classroom every day full of life, eager to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.

I am an Exceptional Children's teacher at a Title I school in North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so that they will have the tools to be productive citizens.

My Project

This color printer/copier will give us the opportunity to print some of our classwork out in color. Color is so much more exciting than black and white. There are times when we also need to make some extra copies of work and with this machine, we would be able to do so right inside our classroom. I love when students get excited about their assignments and I think a color printer would make a world of difference in how my students view their assignments. Also, being a special education teacher means I have a lot of paperwork to complete and print out, so I need a reliable printer in order to do so!
