My eager to learn class of emerging bilingual kindergarten students love school. For many, this is their first year of school, so it is my job to set the stage for a love of learning that will last a lifetime. My students make that task so easy and love to come to school and learn each day.
Since I teach at a Title I school, my students come to me with diverse backgrounds.
Some come to school with prior experiences, while others have never been separated from their family.
It's so fulfilling to see how much they grow and change over this first, crucial year of school.
My Project
My little kinder friends are eager to learn! They love to explore the world around them and express their ideas. One of the best ways is through writing. I have requested a variety of paper and markers in a large range of colors so that my students options are limitless.
I am requesting supplies that will add creativity, novelty, and excitement to the classroom.
I am also asking for STEM building supplies such as geoboards, beads, pegs, blocks, puppets and more. Each of these supplies will have a place of their own in my classroom to foster early development.
I cannot wait to see what creative ideas my kinders will think of with these new supplies!
