Help me give my students books so that they can continue to broaden their minds in my classroom. I chose packs of books that either influenced me directly or have high ratings from others.
My student live in a rural area without much access to bookstores and only one small library. Many of them do not have books at home, and so school is their main source of literary enjoyment. The students at our school are some of the kindest and most caring kids you will ever meet. Thanks to a wonderful community and curriculum that has a focus on social-emotional learning, these students are ready to help, ready to give, and ready to include everyone in class.
My Project
I just recently found out that I am moving to the 5th grade next year!
This is wildly exciting, but my classroom library is not built for big kids!
I'm pretty sure they'd get tired of Pete the Cat real fast.
The items in my project are mainly books (and two other classroom tools) in order to help my kiddos next year have the most to available for them to read. I want to have some books that I think will really hook them and help flourish their love for reading (for me it was Harry Potter).
