My Students
My classroom is made up of a diverse group of first graders. My students come from various ethnic and racial backgrounds. As a new first grade teacher, I aim to provide all the necessary materials for my students to grow and succeed!
My students come from all different walks of life, yet they are all excited and eager to learn at school.
They love education and love learning, and I want to ensure they have all the necessary materials to be successful!
My Project
My students have a true love for reading! They LOVE reading new books each day! Finding books at each of their level gets tricky, so I am looking to grow my classroom library with books at various levels to meet all their needs. My students like having the ability to pick out their own books and with this guided reading pack, I can ensure that I have enough options at that particular level.
Students progress through reading a lot quicker when given access to books at their reading levels.
I am to make my library conducive to this and to ensure they have plenty to read. My class also makes interactive anchor charts for the books we read to show our learning. These markers will allows us to create to create these anchor charts each week!
