I am the Physical Education Teacher and Boys and Girls Basketball Coach. Our school is grades 6, 7 & 8. with 100% of our population qualifying for free or reduced rate breakfast and lunch. About 16% of our population is learning "English as a Second Language".
“EVERY PROFESSIONAL WAS ONCE AN AMATEUR”.
Our student-athletes have many hardships yet still come to school daily, ready to learn. We continuously run on an average of 93% attendance or higher on a daily basis.
My Project
Receiving these items would allow my students to take physical education class to the next level. I will be able to teach my students how to safely exercise using a plyometric box, battle rope, and kettlebells.
My ultimate goal is to kick start healthy lifestyles within my students!
