My Students

I have an awesome class that loves learning! They each have their own very unique abilities and enthusiasm. Each day, I incorporate guided reading, Daily 5 stations, writing, guided math centers and all kinds of fun learning centers to help meet each individual needs of the children in my classroom. This year, the district has provided an iPad for each of my students. The kids love to use all of the various educational materials that are available on the device.

My Project

The upper grade students at my school could use some new playground equipment for use during recess. A lot of our old equipment is in rough shape and needs replaced. New playground equipment would allow the children to play team sports and be more active during recess time. More activity is better for the students health and playing team sports encourages the students to appropriate social skills to deal with the challenges that go along with team sports. Thank you for considering our project! We hope that you will join our team in bringing a more active lifestyle to our students.
