Let's Get Physical! Part 2

The cost of heavy duty hopping sacks, an automatic ball inflator, and an indoor-outdoor equipment cart from Lakeshore Learning is $328, including shipping and fulfillment.

Hooray! This project is fully funded

"Wow! What fun we are having with our new balls, bean bags, cones, jumpropes, and more! We also just got new hopping sacks which are way too fun to race with, play around or even to see who can jump the farthest in one. Oh man! She blew the whistle and it means it's time to go in. Good golly! How in the world am I going to carry all of this inside with just my little arms?" My first graders love to play with all this new equipment, but it is hard to take it all outside and bring it all in with such small arms to carry them. If we had an indoor/outdoor equipment cart, my students could transport this wonderful equipment easily. We've also had a problem with keeping all of the balls inflated to where they need to be. What great responsibility my students would gain by learning to take proper care of materials and how to continue to be able to use them day after day. This could be taught if we had an automatic ball inflator in the room and not have to worry about tracking down the gym teacher to borrow his inflator all of the time. Not only would my students be learning good physical habits, but they could also learn about responsibility of caring for new and used equipment. With the help from you this could be taught. Thank you for your time in considering this proposal!
