My Project

My Pre-K students love to be able to "do things by myself" and have ownership of their own materials and learning. They are working hard to develop responsibility, independence, autonomy, and self-confidence in every area throughout or day. In addition, they love creating and drawing things for others and giving "notes' to their classmates on a regular basis. When this "work" that they put so much effort and so much of themselves into each day is misplaced in the classroom, lots of tears and big feelings surface from my little ones.

Having the paper organizers requested in this project will allow my young learners to independently sort and store their own artwork, drawings, writing samples, and other papers in an individual space that is all their own!

It will also allow them to create drawings, notes, pictures, etc. for their classmates and place this important "mail" in their friends' trays to keep things safe and organized.
