My students need tools to keep them organized in the classroom! Our classroom needs a Classroom Keepers 30 slot mailbox system, 2 pocket charts and an attendance chart.
“For every minute spent in organizing, an hour is earned.”- Benjamin Franklin
I teach 26 of the hardest working second graders in a high need area of Bronx, New York.
Most of my students qualify for free or reduced rate lunch.
My students come to school everyday with eagerness and enthusiasm to learn. As their teacher I feel joy in the positive experiences that my students gain in my classroom. As my students embark on a new school year, help them get organized!
My Project
I provide differentiated learning to small groups throughout the day. We will use the pocket charts during our daily guided reading and math centers block. These pocket charts are a great visual for my learners to identify the activity and center that they will be focusing on that particular day.
It is important to have the tools to stay organized in our classroom in order to maximze learning time.
The mail boxes will provide ample storage and allow my students to take home important correspondences. The attendance chart is also an important tool to keep track of learners in the classroom and can be used effortlessly, so that we can go about our day. All of these tools will be used daily. They will keep us organized and maximize time spent learning in the classroom!
