My students need new organizational supplies, like a new cart for work and a heavy-duty pencil sharpener, to help with day to day activities and function.
My students are amazing. As a grade-level, we view all of the 3rd graders as our students, even if they are in another teacher's class. Our school pulls from a very diverse population, in a rapidly growing area.
We are a big school, but each classroom feels warm, welcoming, and just-right for everyone.
As teachers, we work together to make learning fun and meaningful to the kids. We plan together each week to better collaborate and assess the individual needs of every student.
My Project
We are a very productive class, and work very hard each and everyday. The kids need new materials that keep up with how productive they are, and work as hard as they do.
Over time different classroom items get worn out and tired, and ultimately need to be replaced.
This is the case with some of our frequently used items such as carts for turning in and storing work, markers for writing on white-boards, and our heavy-duty pencil sharpeners that are used consistently throughout the day.
These tools not only make up our day, but greatly impact how well our work gets completed.
