This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
"I grew 2 levels," a student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in East Nashville where 100% receive free lunch. All students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!
My students are full of love!
I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Everyday we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day they grow socially and academically to be their best self.
My Project
For our classroom we need 3 drawer bins to organize our papers. We use group tables (no desks) so we put our papers in folders which sit in a bucket on the table. We would like these 6 drawer organizers so that everyone has a drawer to put their things in and we can keep it on the floor and out of the way. Having our materials out of the way will increase productivity. We will have less wasted time due to our unorganized tables. We also need these large paper trays to organize our work and keep daily lessons separated.
