"I can't find my writing folder!" and "Where did my computer card go?" These are just a few of the things I hear come out of my eager to learn kindergarteners when trying to get ready for the day. We need some help to become organized! These seat pockets will provide us with the storage we need.
I have a classroom full of vibrant learners.
They are learners who need the structure of an organized classroom. My goal is to teach them how to be organized from day one so they can be happy, successful learners. Organization is the key to a successful learning environment that I want to provide for my students.
My Project
My students will love their new chair pockets! We have small tables to work at and small cubbies for other belongings but it has been an ongoing challenge to keep track of and organize places for math, reading journals and writing folders. Not to mention our supplies which tend to get spilled all over and interrupt learning. These chair pockets will fit nicely over the chairs, are made of strong material which will last for many more years and students to come and will help each child to become more organized and help foster responsibility. This is an important lesson we need to learn in Kindergarten and these chair pockets will help us to do just that.
My students need 21 Chair Pockets to help us keep all of our materials ready to be used and organized in our small classroom.
This will allow my students to learn how important organization is to their education at a young age!
