Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." I agree and know that my students are our future. They are going to be the doctors, teachers, innovators, and so on of our future. It is important that we give them a strong education now, so they can be successful and have a bright future. My kids are amazing! They are always eager to learn and try new things.
100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch due to their low socio-economic status.
Another portion of my students come from military homes, in which they have families overseas or come from a single-parent household. All of my students are excited to learn and need materials and resources that they aren't able to get at home. They do not let their socioeconomic status and/or language barriers stop them from reaching their fullest potential. With the right materials and resources, students will be able to receive a powerful education that will allow them to solve
My Project
My students' favorite time of the day is stations, whether it is math or literacy stations! The Really Useful bins will help make materials for station easy accessible to students! Students will be able to go to the bookshelf and big up a station bin and go on their merry way. Students will no longer have to search the room for materials, they will be able to start right away without wasting anytime. With these storage bins, students will able to be more engaged in the stations that support their learning greatly. There will be more focus on the task at hand rather than searching the room for all the pieces.
As a teacher, differentiating instruction is very important.
The cart will help keep our guided reading materials organized! Supporting students and meeting their needs to help them grow is the most important thing as a teacher. To help fill those gaps to get them ready for the real word and then next grade level. With the cart small group materials will be easily accessible to me so that I can start instruction right way without wasting anytime. My students deserve the best, so please help me give them best.
