My students are eager and motivated to learn new things. They enjoy hands-on activities, reading books and using technology. Most of my students enter school lacking basic skills such as letter recognition, name writing and counting skills. Low-income children often do not get the outside enrichment opportunities such as music, dance, art or sports lessons and trips to museums, historical sites and other places. The teachers at my school work hard to give our students the best education and to provide them with a safe, engaging learning environment. Thank you for your support!
My Project
I am asking for supplies to help me, my students and our classroom stay organized and efficient in order to optimize classroom learning time. I love having a colorful classroom and I have requested baskets and shelves to help us stay organized.
It is important to create a warm, welcoming environment so all students feel safe and are prepared to learn.
The baskets and shelves will help me store books and centers and help the students stay organized. I also requested a classroom set of dry erase pouches to use in centers and whole group instruction.
