My students need to get resources so they can get moving to build coordination and balance, these skills will help them learn to focus, learn and explore while learning.
In a rural community where it takes a village to raise a child, our school is able to play an important role by providing a high quality preschool program that will reach children of all ethnic and income families. The children who attend this program have a head start in experiences for kindergarten and offer a lifetime of learning.
Children who attend this program learn to be independent, creative and respect each other and authorities.

My Project
Students in my preschool class need to get moving to stay learning. I am asking for a set of balance boards, a gross motor skills set, and a catch and balance band set. The materials provided in this grant will offer my students the opportunity explore and grow using the motor skills needed to help with brain development.
When students are given the opportunity to get outdoors, explore and move they grow socially, academically, and physically.
My students will work together to learn to balance and use skills necessary to help with coordination which leads to better readers, writers and thinkers.
Let's get the preschool students moving and learning every day inside and out. Let's get preschoolers ready for the future physically and academically.
