My Students
I have an amazing set of reading intervention students in grades kindergarten through fifth. I teach at a very diverse school in MN. My school is classified as a high-poverty school with many students on the free or reduced-price lunch program.
My students have a wide variety of abilities, interests, and challenges.
From learning support students to English language learners, I am here to teach them all and give them the best education possible that meets their unique needs! My school rocks!
My Project
The key to a healthy life is physical activity at a young age.
A physically active lifestyle is crucial for life-long health and physical and emotional wellbeing.
To develop good habits, children should be physically active every day.
Activities should incorporate many different skills through a variety of forms and should be maintained throughout a child’s day. Safe, stimulating environments are important, as are positive role models.
Young children need regular, vigorous, physical activity—active play—to develop and grow properly. Active play strengthens bones, muscles, and the brain and establishes connections between all of them.
Therefore, I am asking for balls, jump ropes, frisbees, ankle skippers and a parachute to get our students active and moving.
