All students are special. That is what makes teaching such a great profession. It is inspiring to see them light up when they master a new concept or when they are proud of a project they completed.
The ability to close the achievement gap in our school is predicated on teachers not only having the heart to teach but also the tools needed to facilitate that learning.

My students come from many different cultural backgrounds. That is the beauty of our school. Our school is in the middle of the Silicon Valley. Hence, technology is an important component to our school, though our school community also believes in the arts. Music is very important to our students, teachers, and parents.
My Project
The microphones will allow my students to create technology based projects where they can do voice over narration. The PA system will also allow them to project their voices during public speaking presentations, as well as help those with softer voices be heard during class discussions.
The use of these microphones and PA system will help all students gain equal access to the learning.
All students will be able to hear the information presented, as well as help them be heard when they present.
The ability to hear and be heard is important for all students to learn. Technology is a big part being a 21st century learner, and these will definitely allow the students to better use that technology.
