This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each day when I greet my students, I see the excitement in their faces. Many of my students come to school lacking the basic supplies to actively participate in class. They are eager to learn, and with the basic supplies at their finger tips, success will happen.

My students are smart and hardworking English language learners.

They are eager to learn; however, many students do not have the basic supplies to be successful in class. They all have the potential to be great students.

They come with high energy and enthusiasm to gain more knowledge.

Our school is located in an inner city. We are a large school with big dreams! The needs of our students are changing. We must adjust to meet the needs of our students, so they can be prepared for the future.

The supplies such as pencils, highlighters, folders and binders will help us to continue striving to our very best and not have to worry about not having basic supplies. Students will be able to participate in writing activities and projects. Your help is very much appreciated.
